Surrealism Idea
I wanted to try something different, which is probably going to take a lot of work to do since I have to blend colors and use a lot of shading. But my idea is me overlooking mountains and either behind or on the mountain itself, an etomic bomb will be going off. The idea I am trying to get out of this is just something different then any other surrealism idea. Im really not sure how this will come out, but ill try my hardest and see what I can come up with.

Different Shots
Digital vs Traditional
Marcel Duchamp, Sixteen Miles of String, 1942 |
Duchamp liked to do his art work is either dark place with some lighting or just in a well lighted area. Duchamp didn't do much painting after 1915. I really like his art work, this is another artist whom I enjoy looking at there work.
I must say, I really like Muchamps art work, everyone should look him up and check out some of the art work he has made, I pick these two artist today because I felt that these were two different style of art work that I enjoy. Each artist has there own style, but I really like these two.
Hans Bellmer was born in Kattowitz in 1902. At his father's insistence, he worked in a steel factory and a coal mine after finishing the examinations qualifying for university admittance. Bellmer did a lot of work and exhibit in Poland. His style of art is different from any other artists, he takes pieces of body parts and brings them together to make something different.
Bellmer uses many layers too finish his art work, mostly layer over layer over layer, but after doing many layers his art work is very cool and makes you wonder how and why he did it.
The reason why I picked this image out of the rest of his paints were because it had the most lines, you could say. Also this picture caught my eye first, I feel that his work comes from the heart and even if his work is different, it makes you want to know why he does it.
I feel that his art work is very successful, I think he wanted to bring the viewer into his art work by doing something different then what every other artist did. I really like his work, and think its pretty cool.
